FundGlobam would like to remind you that the French AMF will implement the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 as of March 10, 2021, known as the “SFRD Regulation”.
Indeed, the French regulator is clarifying the relationship between these new obligations and national requirements, and the position-recommendation DOC 2020 03 on the information to be provided by collective investment schemes integrating non-financial approaches.
As a reminder, SFDR regulation concerns 2 categories of products :
- products promoting environmental and/or social characteristics
- products having sustainable investment objectives
In this context, asset management companies should identify these products under Articles 8 and 9 and apply the SFDR requirements specified in the regulation.
