Djelloul Gafour started his career back in 2011 in the fund services industry as fund onboarding officer, spending 2 years where he gained exposure to depositary bank, fund administration and registrar agent operations and interactions.
This function in the commercial team gave him a broad and complete approach of the Fund Industry and the Financial Market in Luxembourg. He approached all the processes composing the financial cycle and acquired knowledge of the Luxembourgish legal and regulatory environment.
Djelloul then spent nearly 4 years specializing in cross-border fund distribution within the fund registration departments of 2 advisory firms. He provided advice on the cross border distribution process for both UCITS, regulated and non-regulated AIFs and monitored outstanding issues or queries on the registration process. Djelloul acquired strong knowledge of legal procedures in the major European markets, Asia, Latin America and Middle East.
Djelloul joined FundGlobam in the beginning of 2017, heading the operations and the provision of services to clients to support the development of their cross-border activities.
